Have you ever just been craving a cigar, but only have about 30-40 minutes to spare? Well if you like a full bodied smoke, this might be just the thing for you.
At 4 1/2 X 44, the Papas Fritas is a delicious quick smoke. Featuring a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, and Brazilian Mata Fina binder, I would expect this cigar to be on the sweeter “earthier” end of the spectrum. It was.
Starting off with heavy heavy earth tones, this little thing was definitely a power house. Letting the smoke sit before exhaling I got a deep deep cocoa and a touch of sweetness. As I smoked through those last too built up and up until they matched the earthy woodiness of the start. From there it really just held until the end. Not a whole lot of transition in this one, but an intense blast of flavor through out.
If you like a milder smoke or just something real smooth, this is probably not the cigar for you. It with out a doubt targets a full-bodied smoker, or someone who just wants a quick kick.
Unfortunately there isn’t much more to say about this cigar. Short review for a short cigar I suppose.
